CTG is seeking an HR Project Specialist to work a 3 month assignment for our client in Irving, TX.


Manager is looking for project management experience (possibly for small projects) but not a PMP. This will be more of a role focused heavily on admin duties for project management. This candidate will be working with other project managers or they will be working on small projects for this role. Exp with HR is a plus but not required.

Required Function 1:

Essential Responsibilities: Project resource for assigned HR projects including but not limited to User Acceptance Testing. Provide coordination for projects, programs and initiatives that support HR strategic objectives, including but not limited to planning, developing, organizing, reporting, securing and managing resources for the successful completion of assigned projects. Development of project scope, schedule, and risk plan, budget, and develop project related proposals for HR. Maintain effective communication throughout the life cycle of a HR project. Monitor & Control HR project activities for the purpose of ensuring objectives are achieved within budget and timeframes and in compliance with established requirements. Coordinate project meetingsā€¢ Ensure HR project deadlines are met per the scope of the project.

Technical/Functional Skills:

Work Conditions and Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment. Ability to communicate and exchange information. Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data. Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 10 lbs.). Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals. May be required to work extended hours for special business needs

Additional Job Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate strong analytical and collaborative skills. Ability to stay organized, analyze information, and use logic to address work-related issues and problems. Strong PC skills with Microsoft Suite including MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio and Access. High level of initiative and self-motivation. Strong understanding of HR system structure, function, and processes. Ability to handle high level of confidentiality. Team player with high tolerance for rapidly changing environment and have the ability to stay flexible.
