Job Title:CNC Machinist
Hours:Monday- Friday second & third shift available
Duration:Temp to Perm
Pay Rate:Based on experience
Day to Day Responsibilities:
•Understand how to read/edit "M" and "G" code and tool offsets as needed.
•Verifies that the revision level of the CNC machine code, set-up sheets and shop order is correct.
•Sets up and adjust the work piece coordinates.
•Able to inspect own work using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other measuring tools.
•Selects and sets up the proper measuring tools used to verify that the product being machined meets the required geometry.
•Validates that the machine code contains all the necessary information and provides feedback to Process Engineering on the manufacturing process and router times.
•Provide leadership and technical support whenever they observe a fellow machinist struggling.
•Comfortable with basic computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, basic network navigation)
•Selects and sets up the correct tooling, work-holding, speeds and feed when manufacturing parts on manual machines.
•Produces manufactured parts at a rate that is equal to or better than the times specified on our shop order/routers.
Required Skills and Experience:
•Associates degree and/or Trades Certificate (minimum of a HSD/GED required)
•3-5 years CNC experience
•No third party resumes will be accepted
•Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted
•All individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third party vendors)!
•Candidates must currently reside in USA or Canada
