Job Number: 19205270 Computer Task Group is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 2 for their client in Grand Prairie, Texas for an eleven month contract.
Description* EMBEDDED CYBER SECURITY role* Candidate must have a minimum of SECRET clearance
Provides System Security Engineering (SSE) design support, possess expertise in the integration and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance supporting development of embedded security solutions for the Department of Defense programs. Executes assessments and implementation mitigation's against system security threats/risks throughout the DoD System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Decomposes, allocates, implements and validate's System Security requirements derived from NIST SP 800-53 security controls. Works with the System's, Software and Hardware engineering team to support integrating system security requirements definition and analysis into the System Development Life-cycle; establishes system security designs; implements embedded system security designs in hardware, software, and systems; verifies and validates security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities.
Mandatory Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in related discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Information Assurance, Systems Engineering, Cyber security, Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Embedded systems security domain experience for DoD products is essential. Experience understanding and implementing the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) against a defense system is essential.
Desired Meet DoD 8570/8140 approved baseline certification for IAT Level II (I.E., CompTIA Security , GSEC SSCP, CCNA-Security). Domain experience in areas such as hardware design, software design, penetration testing, encryption, etc. Tools experience with Software Assurance (SwA) tools such as; Klocwork, Coverity, and Fortify etc. Some level of understanding security architecture, development and designing a security product is a plus. Familiarity with Threat Modeling against embedded security solutions. Ability to develop and maintain security artifacts to be used in the verification and validation of a system security design is a plus. Possess the ability to work independently, meet critical program deadlines, and achieve stretch goals.
