CTG is seeking multiple experienced Sr. Facets Developers for a long term project with one of our premier clients. The resource will be involved with 25% application support and 75% of application development.
Location:Remote, Should be able to work East coast hours. Local to Buffalo, NY would be a plus as well.
Job Requirements On the Application Developement side:
The candidate will create new applications, modify, and maintain existing applications. Will be responsible for full stack application development (client and server side development)
Must have knowledge and experience to perform application analysis, investigate performance concerns, fix issues when they arise and use their creativity and problemsolving skills to provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
Document, analyze, design, develop, unit test and resolve defects.
Respond to emergency maintenance situations were assigned and based upon application knowledge.
Provide accurate and timely estimates for assigned work.
Effectively apply IT development standards, methodologies, compliance, and Quality Assurance practices.
Provide accurate and complete documentation for all completed work assignments.
Gain a detailed understanding of HealthNow business processes.
Effectively collaborate with Quality Assurance group and business staff to review application functionality and test results.
Participate in business requirements gathering sessions.
Document technical specifications based on provided business requirements.
Coordinate SDLC tasks where called upon for small to moderate change requests.
Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to create application designs.
Coordinate with third party vendors where called upon.
Act in a limited technical leadership role when called upon.
Technical Requirements or skills (software, hardware, equipment)
Object Oriented Development Concepts - Advanced
C#.NET – Advanced
Angular JS - Intermediate
SQL Knowledge - Advanced
XML, XSD, WSDL – Intermediate to Advanced
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle – Intermediate to Advanced
Knowledge of Source Control Tools – SVN/GIT - Intermediate
Knowledge of APIs, Service Oriented Architecture, and Solution Design Patterns - Intermediate
Knowledge of Web Service Standards (SOAP and REST) - Intermediate
Scripting Skills such as Perl, Java, VB or Equivalent - Intermediate
Nice to have:
Knowledge of claims processing systems (such as Facets) - Novice
Knowledge of care management platforms (such as Care Radius) - Novice
Knowledge of EDI Standards (Ex: HIPAA X12, HL7, NCPDP) - Novice
Experience with legacy programming languages (Ex: COBOL, JCL, and Visual Basic) – Novice
Job Requirements On the Application Support side:
The candidate must support Facets and other listed applications maintenance and troubleshooting functions. Including, application debugging, following vendor software support guides to identify root cause of issues, work with administrators to resolve issues encountered (Online or Batch). Must have the ability to work with Cognizant support in resolving the issues.
Participate in Facets releases. Be hands on including downloading software, coordinating install, and application configuration.

Supplemental Mapping Management Tool (SMM)
Beginner to Intermediate knowledge of

Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle - Intermediate
Intermediate to advanced: Health care payor knowledge (Claims, Provider)
