Our client in Germantown, MD has an immediate opening for a Technical Bid Manager for a temp to hire assignment.
Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer
Hours: 8am-5pm with possible OT
Looking for a candidate with a Technical Degree, who can lead proposals, review RFP's, provide solutions for software in public transportation, and is familiar with SharePoint.
Review, understand and communicate the content of the Technical requirements/specifications
Identify the most relevant solution by balancing compliance, company strategy and cost
Identify and communicate risks
Develop schedule and resources estimates in cooperation with multiple departments
Develop cost estimates in cooperation with multiple departments
Write sections of the proposals
Participate in internal reviews
Participate in presentations to and negotiations with potential customers
Use and maintain baseline material for responses
Identify and communicate market trends
Support the sales team (in France)
Additional Requirements, Skills and Qualifications:
Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
Thorough and detail oriented, organized, with excellent time management skills
Strong project management skills
Strong proposal design skills to communicate information with impact
Ability to juggle simultaneous bids at various stages and with various complexities
Ability to manage subcontractors/teaming partners, sales, consultants, subject matter experts
3 to 5 years of experience (desired)
Master’s degree (Technical)
