Our client in Germantown, MD has an immediate opening for a Avaya Engineer for a contract to hire assignment.

W2 candidates only!!!

Compensation: Based on experience

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

No holiday pay or PTO while on contract

Job Functions:

  • Manage implementation of new functionality and upgrades.

  • Thoroughly review and test new functionality and enhancements to applications.

  • Communicate and document application changes to the effected users.

  • Coordinate and participate in meetings and conference calls between Vendors.

  • Identify and document programming tickets for needed application changes. Develop and maintain documentation for all application tasks.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Avaya /Interactive Intelligence IVR Developer Experience:

  • Technical Skills:-

  • Mandatory skills:

  • Avaya Orchestration Designer (AAOD)

  • Interaction Designer by I3

  • Interaction Attendant by I3

  • Java/ J2EE

  • Web Services integration.

  • Have in-depth knowledge of open architectures including VXML, CCXML, GRXML

  • Experience with Avaya Experience portal

  • Nuance TTS Engine

  • Experience with relational databases including Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server

Additional Skills:

  • Application Enablement Services

  • Avaya Interaction Center

  • Avaya Communication Manager

  • CIC Installation and Configuration

  • Must have experience or working knowledge with Interactive Intelligence (I3) systems


  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in technology

  • 5 years of IVR implementation experience.
