Location: Freeville, NY
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Second Shift M-F 2PM-10:30 PM
Pay is $18-20/hr depending on experience
Scope of Position:
The position is responsible for visual and mechanical dimensional inspections of complex Additive and Machined parts for verification of conformance to all requirements and specifications.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
•Complete first article inspections, in-process inspections and final inspection of parts to prints, engineering drawings and travelers to ensure compliance to all customer and regulatory requirements. Dimensional inspection will require use of precision measuring equipment including but not limited to micrometers, height gages, CMM, and Romer Arm.
•Segregates, documents and reports all non-conforming material and parts in accordance with Quality procedures.
•Completes all required data entry and report preparation using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and any inspection specific software packages.
•Other tasks as assigned by manager.
•Candidate must be available to work Second Shift
Required Experience and Skills:
•High School or 5 years minimum equivalent experience
•Associates Degree or Trade School in relevant field preferred
•AS9100 Experience Preferred
•Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and able to stand for long periods
•Vision Exam Required
•No third party resumes will be accepted
•Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted
•All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third party vendors)
