Job Title:Sr. Electrical Engineer

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Job Duties:

  • Provide technical support and manage the technical direction of a project (research or construction) from conception through commissioning.

  • Analyze the electromagnetic environment of client existing or planned facilities, whether commercial, residential, mission critical, laboratory, medical or institutional. Such analysis will include internal sources of fields from planned or existing electrical infrastructure, power generation/distribution/grounding systems and elevators or external sources, including vehicular and rail transportation and cell/radio/TV transmitters.

  • Assist in-house project teams with the designs, specifications, and procedures for the installation and integration of EMI/EMC-compliant mitigation projects.

  • Provide engineering input to the preparation of technical publications, including client reports, technical papers and presentations.

  • This is a client-facing role; prior experience in a similar role with significant communication with clients is preferred. The ideal candidate would occupy a Director position in the company and be on track to assume an executive role in the company

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A BSEE degree from an accredited college/university

  • EIT/FE Required - P.E Desired

  • A minimum of 5 years’ engineering design experience; electrical applications/ electrical systems design preferred.

  • Working knowledge of electromagnetic theory and EMC mitigation and compliance principles.

  • Electrical engineering experience with electrical contracting or construction management - preferred.

  • Experience with Boundary / Finite Element Modelling (Dassault / Comsol / / Matlab / Mathcad / Mathmatica).

  • Excellent Verbal and written communication and analytical skills.

  • Travel up to 25%, or approximately 13 weeks out of the year.

• Test equipment experience and skills: ability to operate and decipher oscilloscope, multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer and network analyzer data.
