Computer Task Group is seeking a Project Manager for their client in Fort Worth, Texas for a 4 month contract.
Description Job Role Title: Apprenticeship Resource Project Coordinator
Perform the admin related tasks for work group and BAs associated with apprenticeship programs
Maintain inventory db to track apprenticeship programs, $’s and metrics that support the 8K/5YR goal.
Help maintain the clients share point resources so that information and tools can be easily accessed by a growing number of visitors
Help create MS Power point slides for BA engagement, etc., including project planning charts/milestones, in MS Project
Meeting coordination including COP meetings, etc.
RAPIDS database administrative duties for all BAs that are hosting apprenticeship programs
Evaluate 1st level inquiry about starting a new apprenticeship program so that we can more quickly flush out priority and offload some of this from the BA project leads
Arrange meetings between team members and with external partners
Record meeting minutes as needed; assist in keeping detailed project notes and records
Track action items for team members
Apprenticeship and 8K/5YR Pledge reporting/tracking support
Project Coordinator will add capacity to the clients Apprenticeship Resource team
We have identified a list of apprenticeship program opportunities that exceed our current workload in part due to growing administrative tasks.
17 programs in 2017 to over 70 in 2019
4 pilots currently in varying stages of work with requests for 4+ more programs
Not all pilots and projects can get enough attention
The project coordinator will allow us to work on more pilots and projects which will equate to include:
more apprentices in the pipeline
more funding opportunities associated with the increased # of apprentices
and, increased BA engagement
Pending awards of grant funds will increase the workload for both admin and project management. Examples include
AACC ECCA Grant Initiative
USDOL FOA for Scaling Apprenticeships
The project coordinator will work on administrative related tasks including RAPIDS for the BA apprenticeship host sites and ensure we maintain timely updates for metric tracking
Allocates more time for to focus on strategies that will evolve the apprenticeship resource initiatives
Mandatory:Must have project coordination experience, using all MS Office Suite (including MS Word, Excel PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint), in all simultaneously and in a complex multi-tasking environment. Must have prior experience working with Key Stakeholders on a project. Must be a self-starter and self-learning.
