Title: Cerner HIM Analyst

CTG is currently seeking a Cerner HIM Analyst to assist our client with the Department of Defense (DoD) Cerner implementation.

HIM Analyst will work with client to design, develop, test, implement, troubleshoot, and manage the development and deployment of Cerner HIM/Access systems.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Consult with clients to establish HIM/Access HIM workflow

  • Analyze problem components of the HIM process

  • Guide client through best practice

  • Understand the application and related HIM/Access HIM workflows so that consultative guidance can be provided to the client through the design decision phase

  • Document current and future state workflows

  • Assist client in validating the Cerner build against the submitted Data Collection Worksheet (DCW)

  • Assist with the test script development and execute test scripts with the client.

  • Assist with issue resolution

  • Validate that the training materials support the client’s workflows

  • Troubleshoot and solve user issues related to Cerner HIM/Access HIM

  • Other tools and tasks - Opps Jobs, Remote Report Distribution (RRD), Workque management, Coding MPages, Abstracting, Coding, Deficiency Management, Chart Requests, Chart Tracking

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2 years of experience in Cerner Health Information Management (HIM) build and implementation

  • At least 1 Cerner HIM full-cycle implementation required

  • Experience with Coding software such as 3M

  • Cerner Patient Accounting, Patient Access, or Revenue Cycle build, operations, or development experience is a plus

  • RHIA Certification a plus

  • Plus/nice to have skills/knowledge: Operational knowledge of HIM Workflow, CCL, Core Security, FSI, Charge Services, Revenue Cycle/Patient Accounting

Location: Falls Church, VA or Remote

Duration: 1 year with additional extensions possible
