Job Number: 18204790 Assist with assigned areas of document management for the Accounts Payable Support Center (APSC) to ensure that departmental goals are met within the guidelines of the CHI Connect Business Model.

Open mail and sort physical documents to prescribed locations by document type. Perform initial document quality review to facilitate scanning process.

Scan documents using hardware and software designed specifically for high-volume document scanning. Conduct quality review of resulting images.

Index electronic images, entering key document data into the imaging/workflow system. Route invoices to various process and approval queues. Maintain working knowledge of special handling documentation, such as pre-approved lists, automatic approval routing information, and special handling invoice lists to ensure prompt and appropriate handling of all documents.

Utilizing organizational knowledge across multiple MBOs, interact with co-workers, internal customers and external customers to exchange information necessary to proactively resolve issues related to documents, such as invoice coding, approval and payment. Respond quickly to customer requests and information to ensure timely payment of invoices, resulting in retention of vendor discounts, avoidance of late fees, and protection of CHI credit rating.

Handle other supplementary tasks such as processing incoming checks, preparing mail and overnight packages, and filing or retrieving scanned documents.

Participate in special projects and provide back up support for other APSC roles, as assigned.

a. Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred): High school diploma or GED required. Business school certification or associates degree preferred.

b. Experience (required and preferred):

Minimum of one year of related business office experience in a corporate setting required, preferably in a high volume team oriented department.
