CTG is seeking a Sales Engineer for our client in Elma, New York. This is a permanent placement position.
This is a Junior Sales Engineer or entry-level Sales Engineer position. At first, this person will manage customer calls, place orders, and generally assist the other reps. However, the career path plan is to become a Sales Engineer themselves and then backfill the old duties with a new position.
This person will need to:
• Place orders from inbound calls / Sales team orders
• Assist Sales in recruiting customers (warm calls not cold)
• Be technical - need to get how data flows – not an expert, but they get IT
• Have some sales experience
Ideally, this person has good phone skills and some technical background so they can talk the talk. They also need to be aggressive. Must have some sales experience. The product portfolio is mainly VoIP, IaaS, and IP Networking products.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group is required.
