CTG is actively recruiting a IT Project Manager for our fortune 500 client in Durham, NC. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of conversion to perm. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO and much more.
Under general supervision of either a Portfolio Manager or a Program Manager, you will oversee multiple projects or one larger project. In addition, you will be responsible for assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project(s).

Drive the Business: Supports technology tools, systems, capabilities, processes, and financials to enable delivery and drive business results across the enterprise.
Technology/Business Planning and Development: Supports execution of functional and technology improvements that drive capacity, quality, and productivity within the enterprise. Key focus areas include:
6 – 10 years of experience / leads high priority projects
BA or BS Degree
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) - Desired
Project Management Professional (PMP®) – Desired
MDM and Agile Experience
Skills and Abilities
Strong communication skills – Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and resolve conflict
Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations; Manage performance and escalates issues as needed
Execution of project plans within timeframes and delivering high quality content and deliverables.
Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives as well as detailed functional objectives as they apply to projects
Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
Confident, optimistic, can-do attitude and a team player
Establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships: Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.

Strong business acumen and communication style.
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Scrum Master (CSM) PRINCE2) a plus
