CTG is currently recruiting for a Technical Support - Help Desk resource for our client in Dodge Center, Minnesota.

Location: Dodge Center, MN

Type: W2 contract (no C2C arrangements)

Duration: Long term

Hours: 8 am to 5 pm

Job Responsibilities:

Performs intermediate technical work installing, configuring, troubleshooting and repairing PC hardware and mobile devices, providing support to school personnel and students, analyzing software programs and making adjustments to meet the needs of the district, and responding to after hour or emergency requests as needed.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provides in person, email and telephone technical support to school staff and students

  • Performs routine maintenance or assists with server hardware, software and networking equipment

  • Installs, configures and connects a variety of mobile devices, computer equipment, audio equipment, cables, printers and peripherals

  • Loads and updates software, updates, patches and drivers

  • Knowledge of iOS, Google-based technologies, ChromeBooks, and Infinite Campus

  • Maintains established levels of support; inventories, and maintains records of services rendered

  • Returns malfunctioning equipment to vendors for repair

  • Assists with the basic user administration in Windows Active Directory and website support

  • Assists and demonstrates functionality for staff and students with online learning platforms such as Google apps and Schoology

  • Assists with setup of Renaissance Learning and state testing environments, trains proctors on administering online tests and supports online tests during testing windows

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • General knowledge of technology helpdesk ticketing procedures

  • General knowledge of operating standard office equipment, audio and projection systems

  • General knowledge operating Smartboards and specialized district systems

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors and associates

  • Ability to handle up to 50 pounds

Education and Special Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working in a technology support role, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Possession of an appropriate driver's license valid in the State of Minnesota
