CTG is seeking a Conduent - Midas Plus Support Analyst for a two year remote opportunity.


  • Include all support such as incidents, service/change request, routine maintenance. Position is remote but being local to Chicago a plus.

  • Must be on site for knowledge transfer (3-6 weeks) at the start of project. Will be part of on call rotation.

  • Midas Care Management v2011.2.5 is a data management system used by various departments for data collection and reporting.

  • The departments which use Midas are: Care Coordination, Patient Guest relations, Quality, and Infection Control

  • Datix and Vizient v14.0.6.3 is a cloud based solution hosted by. This solution has a web-based Intranet link tool for real-time "Patient Safety Event Reporting". The hosted application includes, tracking and trending of patient safety events along with access to the UHC web server for reviewing reports and benchmarking against aggregated data from multiple participants.

  • Operational Users: The back-end application is used by Risk Management staff and authorized users from various departments. The web-based front-end is utilized by the Enterprise to enter Patient Safety Events.

  • Midas Care Management

Common Administration Tasks

  • Adding new user Net ID’s to Midas AD group and creating user credentials accordingly in Midas

  • Deleting Patients. Use the Patient Delete function to remove an individual episode record, or an individual encounter, from the Midas Care Management system.

  • Reviewing Suspected Duplicates. Use the Duplicates function in Midas to review patient records that the system has identified as possible duplicates.

  • After a careful review is completed, the records are to be merged into one common Incidents

  • Access requests and deletion of events

  • Common Requests

  • Creation/Modification of reports, and work lists

  • Integrated 3rd party modules/applications

  • InterQual (McKesson) is used by our Care-Coordination department and is part of the Midas application. InterQual enables the care-coordination staff to determine the patient care is clinically indicated based on specific criteria subset and at the appropriate level of care.

  • The selection of these criteria is based on two main criteria which is “severity of Illness” and “Intensity of service”

  • Uniqueness considerations

  • DAB Interface and daily upload from Health Quest The Midas system can also receive data from the patient’s Medical Record Abstract.

  • This data typically includes any coded diagnoses and procedures, the coded DRG and financial information such as total charges, total costs, reimbursement, and charges per cost center

  • Datix - Vizient Patient Safety Event Reporting

  • User credentials: Adding new user Net ID’s to Vizient AD group and creating user credentials accordingly in Vizient

  • System Incidents: Coordination of technical resources for scheduled maintenance and system outage
