CTG, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a one-year contract with our client located in Delaware, OH.
Major Contributing Activities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to assure production process control, product quality, and administrative functions for the Uniprime process, for a given shift.
Administration responsibilities include maintaining records, filing and maintaining formulas on Tandem, performing gage R&R studies, preparing shipping paperwork, and ensuring stock of supplies and equipment.
The incumbent serves as a team member to the Uniprime/Resin team to drive continuous improvement of all aspects of the operation.
The incumbent has a high school education with successful completion and demonstrated ability to apply chemistry, algebra, and statistics. The incumbent must be proficient in the use of personal computers. In addition, the incumbent possesses excellent problem solving, math and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assures production processes. Follows and assures set production schedules are met. Assures all plant safety policies are followed.
Stocks and orders laboratory supplies and equipment, as well as maintaining the laboratory, equipment, and facilities to assure a high level housekeeping and safety standards. Maintains detailed records of tests and experiments and prepare written reports on project status. Responsible to assist in preparation of shipping documents for customers.
Participates as a team member to assure continuous improvement.
