CTG's premier client, a Fortune 500 global supplier of paints, coatings, specialty materials, has an immediate contract opening for an Accounting Clerk for a 1 year assignment in Delaware, OH.

Position Title: Accounting Clerk

Duration: 1 year Assignment

Location: Onsite in Delaware, OH

Shift: Flexible 8 hour shift between 7 am and 6 pm

Rate: $20 per hour

Requirements: Hair follicle drug testing and other employment related inquiries may be conducted

Job Responsibilities:

  • Discount Support Credits – Process Buying Agreement discount support credits. Responsible for verifying supporting document sent by the sales team with the Buying Agreement, verifying rebate amount and process the credits.

  • CF/MF Credits – Process CF/MF credits based on CF/MF agreements in the system. Responsible for verifying eligible products and the correct pricing, validate rebate amount and process the credits.

  • Network Rebate – Processing network rebates. Responsible for verifying supporting documentation sent by the sales team with the network agreements, verifying appropriate approval and entering the credit.

  • Commercial Meets Competition Rebates – Process commercial meets competition rebate credits. Responsible for verifying supporting documents sent by the customer or sales team, verify correct pricing and discount, validate rebate and enter the credits.

  • Support Sales Team – Provide support to the sales team on setting up CF/MF and Commercial Meets Competition agreement. Assist the sales team in credit research and ad hoc credit reports.

  • Project Support – Provide testing and design supporting for various IT projects to streamline and improve current process.

  • Backup Coverage/Cross Training – Availability to cross train in other Invoicing activities to ensure backup coverage is available resulting in no distribution in invoicing activities during any employee absence.


  • Position requires a 2-year degree or 4 years relevant work experience,

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills,

  • Ability to interact with both internal and external customers, and

  • Computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint).

  • Experience with Oracle Financials as well as CTS, RSM, Tandem Billing systems, and SDI is beneficial but not required.

  • Successful incumbent should be flexible, motivated, well organized, and detail-oriented.

  • Candidates also need to have a sense of urgency for important business deadlines as the invoicing function needs to be performed timely, especially during month end closings.

  • Prior experience in accounting functions of large international corporations and/or manufacturing environments is a plus.
