We are actively seeking a Regional Change Manager for our client, a global Crop Science and Biotech company located in Creve Coeur, MO
Job Title: Regional Change Manager
Job Location: Creve Coeur, MO-Remote locally
Job Type: Hourly Consultant
Pay: Up to $73.50/hr
Hours: 7 am to 4 pm
This position will require some driving (less than 5k business miles annually) to be reimbursed.
Major Tasks:
Lead onePSS change management initiatives at sites throughout North America in sustainability, in coordination with site leadership teams and in partnership with operational excellence specialist driving alignment for the change strategy
Develop understanding of onePSS methodology and recommended change management strategy
Create, review and refine content to be leveraged in organization-wide
Tap into extended Client HR/Change Team network, when needed
Develop and execute change management action plan, adapting recommended strategy and inclusive of all change levers: communication, training, stakeholder management and engagement, coaching and mentoring and reinforcement and rewards.
Oversee relevant analysis at the site: Gather key cultural and change readiness insights (through in-depth 1-on-1 interviews, focus groups and surveys) from leadership and operators/technicians at select sites
Measure and report change progress throughout the site implementation, (e.g. new behaviors, adoption of new practices and follow up after the implementation to ensure continuing adoption and sustainment)
Coach site leadership, as needed, in partnership with HR and in accordance with expectations outlined in Client’s change leadership competency
Tailor training documentation to address site specific practices, based on Globally-designed onePSS training
Deliver training related to leading change and/or facilitate the delivery of training by subject matter experts
Build a high-impact change champion network or leverage existing networks
Recognize risks to change and develop and implement action plans
Oversee communication/change milestone reviews and workshops at sites
Maintain regular touchpoints with site leads, HR, GoE and regional leadership
Maintain line of sight and influence efforts outside of the project that can enable or hinder success
Provide post-implementation support to identified groups and collect feedback on successes and opportunities for improvement
Provide recommendation for governance model and ongoing support structure for the changes after initial implementation.
Skills:
Required Experience: Bachelors Degree, 7+ years of relevant experience, Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts with demonstrated results, ability to tailor change messaging and communication channel to identified stakeholder
Desired Experience: Masters degree in business, Organization Development (OD), organizational psychology, knowledge of manufacturing processes, communication, HR or commiserate experience preferred.
Influencing: Reputation that commands thoughtful consideration of advice from management at all levels
Leading Change: Opinion leader among peers and team with a pulse on prevalent culture
Travel: The change manager will travel approximately 20-50% of the time visiting row crop sites, and STL occasionally. There will be overnight trips. Travel is based on site requests/needs, and will be scheduled sporadically.
