Computer Task Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead for a 3 Month contract position for their client located in Burnsville, MN.
This position contributes to the success of the client by certifying pallet inventory in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: •Keep accurate records of certified loads transported out of the facility for DSD delivery
•Provide coaching and counseling to Pickers on Pallet building practices
•Provide feedback to Product Availability Supervisor (PAS) on workflow, loading issues and developmental opportunities of Pickers and Loaders
•Track each load accurately
•Accurately count all pallets
•Maintain pace of pallet configuration
•Ensure that in line adjustments are made and used for all pallets
•Identify priorities and coordinate resources
•Assess and enhance skill set of Pickers. Recommend process improvements
•Coordinate Picker and Loader team
•Work schedule 2nd shift Monday-Friday 2-10:30pm with weekend work and flexibility to work different shifts.
Qualifications/Requirements •A high school diploma required, a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
•Position requires 3-4 years warehouse experience, preferably in a checker or analyst role.
•Incumbent must be organized, detailed oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
•Must demonstrate ability to lead and coach others.
•Excellent PC skills and communication skills, both written verbal, are required.
•Ability to lift 40 60 lbs. frequently.
•Ability to continuously stand/walk for 7-8 hours
