CTG is excited to be hiring a Strategic Director for our client’s Managed Care division. Our client is a national leading life sciences organization, and your ability to interpret market opportunities to effectively present derived strategic insights senior leadership will be the key to your success. The location of this position is flexible, but travel requirements may reach about 10-25%. Seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and a heart for healthcare!

This individual will accomplish the following:

  • Develop long range sales planning and strategic direction in compliance with company objectives

  • Leverage relationship/strategy to gain advantage to use Client over competitors

  • Support corporate management staff and field personnel to ensure that sales policies and initiatives are targeted to maximizing market share

  • Work with minimal supervision, yet closely with company-wide Senior Leadership to champion informatics-based innovation efforts

  • Execute a prioritized roadmap of experiments that take advantage of business opportunities.

  • Provide ancillary healthcare services:

  • Build, develop, maintain relationships with payers, plans

  • Strategize on how to get product covered by insurance / commercialize a test so that it can be provided by an insurance company

  • Increase payer relations/management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Business or related field; advanced degree preferred but not required.

  • 5 years of experience in one of the following areas of expertise is preferred:

  • Management Services Organization (MSO)

  • Group Purchasing Organization (GPO)

  • Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM)

  • Disease State Management

  • Employer-Facing Marketing/Brokerage or Value-Based/Accountable Care Organization

  • Broad knowledge of the healthcare system and its challenges

  • Comfortable in fast-moving and change-oriented client management environment
