CTG is seeking a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) Developer to support one of our Health Insurance Clients.

Qualified candidates will be responsible for:

Understanding application design principals and application architecture

Translate Business Requirements into Technical Design

Analysis and detailed design for assigned tasks

On-going communication of status to co-workers and business contacts

Documentation of detailed technical design

Development of test cases and will be required to work with QA during testing

Strong experience and knowledge of SOA environment with the abillity to design and implement reusable integration objects.

Strong SQL/database skills

Java (or similar language)

Knowledge and experience working with integration tools and services tools such as Websphere Message Broker, Web Logic, Java, .Net, WSDL, SOA, XMP, MQ Messaging, Enterprise Service Bus.

Knowledge of SOA registry and repository technology.

SQL programming exprerience, including frameworks.

Ability to navigate and work on multiple operating systems such as Windows and Unix/AIX.

Nice to have: Advanced knowledge with integration tools such as Informatica is preferred.

Ability to work as part of a team or to be self-directed as required.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Experience working in an agile development environment.

  1. Prior experience in a health insurance environment

  2. Very strong SQL skills

  3. Advanced knowledge with integration tools and services using Web Logic, Java, along with web services technologies and tools (WSKL, SOAP, XML, MQ messaging, ESB)

Understanding of UML and IDE

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
