CTG, Inc., a Buffalo based, international IT staffing and consulting company, is currently seeking an in-house JDE Developer.

Job Duties:Provides internal users with development, technical support, and maintenance on mission critical systems. Works closely with corporate and field management and staff, and outside vendor.

  • Develop and support mission critical applications

  • Ensure stability and reliability of the company’s mission critical applications

  • Provide solutions, ideas, and data to application users

  • Design, code, and implement programs or procedures that enhance mission critical applications

  • Provide enhancements and changes to applications to simplify procedures, reduce errors, increase user productivity, and reduce turnaround time

  • Investigate software tools and make recommendations

  • Maintain familiarity with trends and changes in software development

  • Perform administrative tasks on the AS/400 and financial systems

  • Provide technical support for the company’s applications

  • Identify and resolve problems

  • Conduct research and analysis for the informational needs of individual departments

  • Analyze application report generation capabilities and assist in designing reports

  • Assist application users in retrieving and manipulating data effectively

  • Perform other duties as required to fulfill responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in computer science, including analysis, design, programming, and testing

  • Working knowledge of system development life cycle

  • Working knowledge of JD Edwards, Remedy, Word, Excel, and Project.

  • Competent in RPG, Control Language, and SQL
