Job Title: IT Developer – Angular and GO Development

Work Hours:Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Job description:In collaboration with other IT functions ensures that software applications are effectively designed implemented integrated and maintained in support of business goals and objectives. Additional responsibilities include problem resolution defect resolution unit/system testing and implementation of software releases. Performs in a technical project leadership role as required.

The contractor will be converting existing Grails 2.5.6 applications to Angular 7 applications with a GO backend/services implementation. These applications support a variety of business areas. The contractor besides doing the initial development, would be responsible for working with my full time developers, QA and business users to work through requirements and testing of applications. They will need to follow our standards that are currently in place and need to understand the concept of automation/devops, unit testing and cloud development in AWS. They will be utilizing Gitlab for source code and deployment, confluence for all documentation and jira for tracking of their assignments.

* * Collaboratively participates in business requirements gathering sessions and documents technical specifications that can be used by assigned application development staff. Codes unit tests readily resolves defects and maintains and implements high quality program changes applying IT development standards and practices.

  • Effectively collaborates with Quality Assurance Testing and business staff to review application functionality and test results.

  • Provides accurate and timely estimates for assigned work and documentation for all completed work assignments.

  • Leverages a detailed understanding of business processes and procedures to prepare accurate and comprehensive user-level documentation.

  • Assists peers with detailed program analysis & design for assigned work.

  • Responds to all assigned emergency maintenance situations and provide expert problem resolution knowledge to peers. Mentors and trains designated IT team resources.

  • Performs administrative duties such as status and time reporting and special assignments within scope of expected skills and experience.

  • Coordinates SDLC tasks where called upon for moderate change requests as well as project assignments.

  • Acts in a Technical Project Leadership role following IT’s best practice SDLC processes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent degree

  • 5+ years of relevant developer experience

  • Dynamics CRM Skills: At least 2 years of Dynamics experience, experience with D365, experience building forms, views, workflows, reports for the UI, experience working with Custom Entities, experience with both the Classic Web and Unified Interface, experience with Azure web service, WCF web services, experience with Javascript, experience with CRM Plug-ins

  • .Net Development Skills: Experience working with IIS, strong knowledge of object oriented concepts, solid knowledge of recent versions of Visual Studio

  • Experience with SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Kingswaysoft

  • Solid knowledge of Web Development skills like HTML, XML

  • Experience in Jira is helpful

  • Experience with Git, Github, Subversion, AnthillPro

  • Technology Requirements: WEB - Advanced Level Java Programming - Mastery of Object Oriented Development Concepts - Mastery of Intermediate Web Development Concepts - Intermediate HTML/CSS/JavaScript - Advanced JSP & Servlet - Knowledge of intermediate SQL commands - Advanced Mobile Development (iPhone Android Windows HTML 5) - Advanced Source Control knowledge (SVN) - Advanced Knowledge of Web Content Management System - Prefer Adobe CQ Experience - BAS Core - Advanced C++ and C# skills - Advanced understanding of .Net framework - Knowledge of advanced SQL commands - Mastery of database structure and concepts - Advanced problem solving and analytical skills - Intermediate Source Control knowledge (SVN) - Previous experience with older programming languages such as COBOL and VB preferred
