Project Duration:Consulting Position, 3 months
Project Location: Buffalo, NY
Job Title:Data Validation Analyst
Performing data clean up and merging duplicate records stored in disparate systems.
Manually review records identified as potential duplicates in these various applications to verify as distinct records or confirm the need to merge.
Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements and demonstrated commitment to privacy, security, and confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) is required.
Prior experience working with medical records is ideal.
•Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is required. Prefer a background in Medical Records / Health Information Management, with proficiency in navigating EMRs / EHRs.
•Preference given to applicants with experience using Invision, Medent, Soarian, PointClickCare, Crescendo, or any combination of these applications.
•Intermediate proficiency in Excel
•Ability to analyze data, problem-solve, and clearly communicate
•Able to work independently and collaborate with team members as needed to complete assigned tasks
•Strong organizational skills with accurate attention to detail
