Computer Task Groups is seeking a Grant Administrator/Communications Representative for a 3 Month Contract position for their client located in Bethesda, MD.


Our client's Corporate Community Relations team is looking for a contractor to provide grant administration support for approximately three months. During this period, the selected individual will focus on processing grants and sponsorships as well as developing well documented, replicable processes via reference and training materials related to the company’s charitable giving policies and systems.

By the end of the assignment, the contractor is responsible for delivering: • Completed grant and sponsorship processing paperwork and payments • Decline notifications to nonprofit organizations not selected for funding • A grant administration “playbook” that provides definitions of commonly used terms, explanations of grant requirements and documentation and step-by-step guides on how to complete required processes • A CyberGrants 101 training overview The ideal contractor has a working knowledge of corporate charitable giving administration and experience using CyberGrants or other grant administration software. This individual must possess strong technical writing skills and be able to distill information into clear, easy to follow directions. The contractor must also possess strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Word and PowerPoint, to create the requested materials. Desired skills include project management experience with strong attention to detail and organization. The contractor must have strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor to coordinate with stakeholders on various teams throughout the company, both within Community Relations and across other teams such as Legal and Ethics. The contractor should be a self starter who seeks to quickly understand tasks and takes initiative to thoughtfully and thoroughly meet the stated goals. Finally, a team player and can do attitude are imperative for the contractor’s success.
