We are actively seeking aQuality Control Analystfor our client, a major pharmaceutical and nutritional products manufacturing company, located inBerkeley, CA.
Provide technical services to QC laboratories, including qualification and validation of analytical instrumentation, method validation, periodic reviews, and generation of QC method control charts.
Pay rate: $40/hour - W-2 basis, no C2C or 1099's
Duration: 4+ month contract position
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Support data entry and verification from LIMS, SAP and paper documents into a control chart for each control/method combination
Enter data into JMP for statistical analysis
Support statistical analysis of the data
Support investigation into trends observed on the control charts
Follow GMP SOPs for control chart generation and analysis
Educational Requirement and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Statistics or related field; 4+ years in a compliant lab environment
A basic technical background is required in areas such as analytical methods, instrumentation, computerized systems, biology, chemistry, microbiology
Experience with a cGMP and global regulatory compliance organization is required
Ability to multi-task and good adaptability to changing business requirements in a dynamic corporate environment
Strong computer and communication skills are required
Familiarity with LIMS and SAP systems is highly desired
Familiarity with statistical analyses is desired
Previous experience is analytical or biochemical QC lab is preferred
