Job Title:Administrative Assistant

W2 Pay Rate:Maximum of $34.00/hr, based on experience

Position Summary:As Administrative Assistant for the Director of the RA CMC Biotech, assists in scheduling meetings, arranges travel and prepares expense reports for the Director and the Director's staff located at the Berkeley site. Maintain adequate office supplies for the Director and the group. Additionally supports the Director, or Director's delegate, in performing clerical duties such as entries or verification of data in databases and/or SharePoint, as assigned.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

•Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments and travel, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers

•TOCbase database entries

•Track and enter CMC submission information, i.e. TRDs, Responses to Information Requests, etc, on submission variation electronic-trackers

•Organization of files (hard-copy and electronic) related to CMC submission tracking in various Sharepoints

•Schedule travel arrangements in CONCUR, similar databases

•Prepare expense reports in CONCUR, similar databases

•Schedule meetings in OUTLOOK

•Maintenance of office supplies

•Distribution of mail

Required Experience and Skills:

•HS Diploma or Equivalent

•Prior experience as Administrative Assistant of at least 8 years

•Must be attentive to details, possess professional presentation of self and attitude (adherence to rules, procedures, etc.)
