Our Fortune 20 client has openings for Level 1 Network Technical Support for their Server Support Help Desk located in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Location: Bentonville, AR
Duration: 9 month Project – possible extensions
Shift: 3rd Shift, Overnight (8:00 pm - 6:00am) Sun - Thurs
Level 1 Network team members are responsible for working with installers to ensure PC's, shelves/rails, cabling are properly installed and online. Understand networks in a large-scale retail environment and be able to perform network switch port configurations. Identify decommissioned hardware to be removed and assist on-site technician with the proper labeling of decommissioned hardware. All team members will take direction from their shift Project Leader.
Identify all the Major components of a Network as well as a Computer (PC or Server)
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Validate information via a database
Documentation skills (can clearly document and log work that has been done)
Strong customer service skills
Working knowledge of Service Now
Prior project help desk experience
Prior experience in upgrading and installation services of hardware and software
Understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
