Title: Technical Writer

CTG is looking for a Technical Writer to convert content within DITA/XML files and convert graphics files from CorelDraw to SVG. Candidate will either write tools to complete the conversion or convert manually where tools will not work.
Job Duration: 6 months with the possibility to be extended
Job Location – Austin, TX near The Domain
Job Responsibilities & Desired Skills for the Technical Writer Include:
Knowledge and use of AIX or Linux
Knowledge and use of Windows
Strong knowledge and use of DITA or XML, DITA preferred
Technical writing background or entry level experience
Knowledge and use of source control such as CMVC and/or IDCMS(FileNet®)
Previous IBM experience, proficient editorial competence, with the ability to follow and apply the IBM Style guidelines where appropriate
Innovative person who is knowledgeable and interested in implementing the latest technology
No third party resumes will be accepted
