CTG Application Consultant Mainframe Modernization in Atlanta, Georgia
• Knowledge on DFSMS (DFSMShsm / DFSMSdss), Flashcopy, ICF Catalogs, HCD• Performance tuning & Development of operational procedures• Experience with system indicators (logs, dumps, error) logs for pro-active management of system problems• Hardware knowledge on large-scale hardware vendors (IBM, Brocade, Cisco)• Experience in managing IBM (DS8000) storage including replication monitoring• Experience with IBM Virtual Tape Management Systems (VTS) including replication monitoring• Experience/knowledge of parallel sysplex (GDPS), catalog management, IBM system utilities• Administer 3rd-party storage systems software • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software product suite• On-call rotation / weekend work required
