CTG Quality Assurance Analyst in Anchorage, Alaska

CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Assurance Analyst opening for our client in Alaska.

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 months

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on functional systems testing, including wireless, broadband, and local services, as well as integrations and web pages. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in quality assurance practices, data clean-up, and preparation for testing across various release cycles. This is not a development or automation-focused role but rather an opportunity for a functional QA professional to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional testing for wireless, broadband, and local service systems, including web pages and integrations.

  • Prepare systems for testing by performing data clean-up and validation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality across all systems.

  • Participate in testing across various release cycles, including:

  • Daily break-fix testing

  • Weekly hot fixes

  • Monthly releases

  • Long-term projects

  • Document test cases, results, and defects, ensuring clear communication with the support and development teams.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance, with a focus on functional systems testing.

  • Familiarity with billing systems and their processes is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of wireless, broadband, and/or local services.

  • Proficiency with QA tools, with experience in the Atlassian Suite (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) being a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in environments with frequent release cycles (daily, weekly, monthly).

  • Familiarity with testing web pages, system integrations, and data validation.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $95,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
