CTG is recruiting aData Control Analystwith engineering information management andMEL data experienceto join our Information Management and Document Control Services team in Anchorage, Alaska.

Location: Anchorage, AK

Duration: Long term, ongoing

General Responsibilities:

  • Verify completeness of engineering and operations data

  • Catalog physical records with full metadata descriptors & attribute information

  • Load Metadata and descriptor data

  • Administer access permissions for data management systems

  • Ensure data received is loaded to project & master data stores correctly & catalogued accurately

  • Support Regional teams with a range of basic data management tasks to clean up data in project databases and master data stores

  • Administer/prepare physical and digital data for receipt and distribution to and from third parties

  • Publish data into GOO data systems as specified by the business and data management processes

  • Identify and communicate feedback from customers to the Regional Data Lead

  • Deliver elements of data management Functional led projects

  • Support local data management projects through the provision of support in areas of competencyRole Specific Duties:

  • Receive Notification of tag request

  • Verify readiness per standard

  • Apply changes to MEL Record

  • Submit for Maintenance Coding and Review

  • Submit for update to CMMS SystemRequirements:

  • 3 years Expertise with Information Management and Document Control business processes in the Oil & Gas business

  • Knowledge & experience with information and document control systems and databases related to engineering information and preferably in oil & gas industry

  • Documentum or similar document management systems

  • Maximo

  • SAP

  • MoC systems

  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office documents; especially Word and Excel

  • Advanced proficiency with excel; macro’s and visual basic function

  • Problem solving aptitude, works with minimal supervision, sees opportunities for improvement and is a team player

  • Knowledge & experience with major equipment and instrumentation – classification, naming standards, Maintenance Management Systems

  • Detail oriented for accuracy in database entries and document registration

  • Experience with quality systemsTo Apply
