CTG is searching for a full timeAutomation Programmer AnalystwithServiceNowexperienceto join our team for acontract to hireposition in the financial services industry located inAnchorage, AK. Alternate location would beGlendale, AZ.
Must be located in either Anchorage, AK or Glendale, AZ.
No remote, travelers or relocation available.
Primary Functions: Solves programming and analysis tasks in the development and support of moderately complex computer applications to accomplish business objectives to support our automation team. This team is working towards the automation of many applications as possible including ServiceNow and Symitar applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Solve moderately complex programming and integration issues involving multiple platforms by translating client and service requirements into automated applications.
Provides technical training to other personnel in developing and maintaining moderately complex applications.
Assists in developing project plans and control activities based on satisfying client and service requirements.
Develop integrated application systems that improve operating efficiency and quality control.
Prepares project status reports.
Develop in-depth knowledge of current and emerging applications, technologies and standards through continuing education, reviewing technical publications, and participating in professional associations.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of team efforts and results.
Education: Minimum two-year postsecondary degree with technical focus
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Equivalent in technical training and/or directly relatable work experience.
Three years in a Programmer Analyst position with two years in the development, automation and maintenance of applications.
Skilled in systems methodology, application development and analysis.
Experienced with ServiceNow, Agile, DevOps strongly preferred.
Experience with automation tools such as eggplant highly desirable
Efficient using reportwriters, programming languages such as VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, C# and JAVA as well as common programming utilities used in a Microsoft or J2EE environment.
Strong communications and excellent interpersonal skills required.
Experience with financial environments desired.
