Computer Task Group is seeking a Lab Technician/Process Engineering Professional for a long term contract position for their client located in Albany, NY.
Pay Rate: Negotiable
General Requirement: Lab Technician/ Process Engineering Professional
Background: The client's “Research” program, has a need for an experienced engineering Technician. This engineer will assist in the line support of advanced semiconductor technology. The selected candidate will work directly with equipment owners and operators to track daily tool problems, troubleshoot force completes, track control charts, and execute engineering experiments.
*The preferred candidate would have previous experience in a Fabrication clean room environment, including experience with fabrication operating systems such as SiView.
Job Duty 1 - Own daily tool execution Tool inhibit investigation and closure
Job Duty 2 - Analyze particle level, deposition rate or etch rate data on 300m wafers and communicate on the same – Address any other manufacturing concern
Job Duty 3 – Track wSPC charts to highlight trends and potential excursions
Job Duty 4 – Support the baseline for advanced semiconductor technology development
Job Duty 5 - Access the SiView Fabrication Operating Systems to deposition wafers
- Basic Skills, clearances and other elements required, in order of importance, and number of years’ experience, where applicable, in each skill:
Strong teamwork skills
ability to manage time/resources well
Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Briefing experienced an asset.
- Other Skills Desired, Years in each skill, where applicable:
Equipment troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of or ability to learn SiView, web-based specification process controls (1+ years)
-Hands on experience in a clean room fabrication environment (1+ years)
-Knowledge of fabrication process controls and procedure for tool qualification for process performance and defectively.
