CTG is currently recruiting for an experienced and diligent circuit design layout technician for our Fortune 100 client in the Yorktown Heights, NY area. This technician will assist in the layout of new designs on a 90nm test chip. The selected candidate will work directly with STR researchers to convert circuit schematics to layouts.
Location: Yorktown Heights, NY or remote for the right candidate.
Duration: 6 month W2 contract
Job Duties and Description:
Use Cadence to layout 90nm test chip based on schematics provided by STR team members.
Use LVS to compare layout to schematics and adjust accordingly.
Use DRC to check design groundrules and update designs to comply.
Update designs as needed based on circuit simulation results by team.
Cadence 2 years required, 5 years preferred
Experience with design and layout in a 90nm technology node, 2 years preferred.
Experience with 90nm groundrules, 2 years preferred.
LVS and DRC 2 years required, 5 years preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills required, especially if remote.
Willingness to work with team members from diverse backgrounds required.
