Our client in Webster, NY has an immediate opening for a Failure Analysis Technician for a 4 month contract assignment.

Essential job functions:

Field customer calls and emails for XRC technical support. Calls and emails will result in the need to send out a Xerox Replacement Cartridge (XRC) as well as shipping labels to return the complaint cartridge.

Applicant also required to track and monitor shipment of replacement units to ensure customer is fully satisfied and issue is resolved.

When complaint cartridges are returned, analyze/investigate faults by print testing and writing of summary reports.

Work with engineers assisting with project work.

Ship cartridges to suppliers for further analysis.

Perform hands-on root cause analyses (RCA) as needed.

Act as test key-op when required, on product development efforts with environmental stress chamber testing.

EXPERIENCE:

2 years of experience in a technician role preferred.

EDUCATION:Minimum: A.S. in a technical field. B.S. preferred.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
