Customer Service Representative

CTG is immediately hiring a Customer Service Representative for a full-time opportunity in Bedford, NH with our premier client in Healthcare. Assignment Type: Contract Hire – Full Time 40 hours/week

Work Hours: Monday – Friday schedules and a friendly, customer focused work environment.

Assignment Location: Bedford, NH

Job Role Duties for the Customer Service Representative:

  • Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls from members, prospective members, providers and internal staff regarding benefits, eligibility and claims

  • Creatively solves member/provider inquiries to ensure accurate and complete First Call Resolution

  • Provide customer education on health plan benefits and programs

  • Provide assistance to members and/or providers regarding website registration and navigation

  • Identify any trends related to incoming or outgoing calls that may provide policy or process improvements to support service excellence, quality assurance and reduced call volumes

  • Maintain a professional relationship with the member/provider to ensure a positive customer experience

  • Document pertinent information and all work activity in the appropriate systems to comply with company policies and procedures

  • Ensure accounts are processed in accordance to federal and state regulations including but not limited to, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines

Skill Requirements for the Customer Service Representative:

  • Previous healthcare claims and provider experience strongly preferred

  • Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

  • Ability to multi-task through multiple system applications while speaking with the customer on the phone

  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

  • Ability to work in a team fostered environment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and organize work

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some evenings until 8pm

Preferred Experience

  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate or equivalent in relevant work experience desired.

  • 1 years of call center customer service experience or 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a health care or insurance environment
