Computer Task Group is seeking an Inventory Planner/ Controller to work a 1 year contract position onsite at their client's location in Syracuse, NY.

Description

Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts. Performs a variety of activities which involve standard procedures. Gathers and manipulates common data, verifies adequacy and appropriateness; develops charts, diagrams, and standard reports. In technical or production positions, may also set up and operate standard electronic or mechanical equipment used to develop, produce and/or test products or process data.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory:

THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION.

SAP, stockroom/inventory experience; Excellent analytical skills, Excel, organization, communication; Prepares reports; Cycle count; Resolve inventory discrepancies
