CTG DEPLOYMENT TECHNICIAN in Raleigh, North Carolina

CTG is hiring a Deployment Technician to work with our client in the downtown Raleigh, NC area.

In this position, you will perform the following duties:

  • Warehouse Receiving / Inventory – Receive equipment from the delivery company (UPS, FedEx, Freight, etc).

  • Check and note any damages when signing. Constant inventory management of equipment is necessary to maintain accurate records.

  • Physical abilities – Able to team lift 75 lbs and is required to walk ½ mile while pushing/pulling 50 lb. cart.

  • Transportation – Must have reliable vehicle. Deliveries outside of downtown area are standard and use of personal vehicle is required. (Mileage is reimbursed at federal rate)

  • Customer Service – Phone contact to setup appointments and discuss software contained on the client's PC. Personal delivery and setup of the PC and accessories at the customer desk side.

Required Skill Set:

  • PC Skills – Ability to remote into, view software list and determine differences between two systems. Ability to setup and train end user on desktops, laptops and tablets functionalities.

  • Software Skills – This position is PC based. Must be proficient in Win 7 through Win 10 and Office 2010. Working knowledge of manual transfer of end user approved files.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with all level of employees

  • Able to communicate complex issues in non-technical terms

  • Able to write clear and concise instructional documentation and business emails

  • Ability to work with minimal direction with management located in separate locations

  • Ability to resolve complex configuration issues using technical problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multi-task effectively and follow documented processes and paperwork requirements

  • Must be detail oriented, and have strong analytical skills.

  • A Plus certification is preferred.

  • Deployment experience is required.

  • Excellent interpersonal soft skills.

Candidates with server hardware or software background or phone support / troubleshooting only will not be considered.
