Our client has an immediate opening for Advanced Print Production/Graphic Artist position in Phoenix, AZ for an on-going contract assignment. Pay Rate is $16.34 non-negotiable / W2 Only, no Corp-to-Corp or 1099's. No PTO available.
Essential job functions:
Document assembly and finishing
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Operate standard finishing equipment (e.g. paper cutters, inserters, laminating, and hole punchers)
Operate office equipment (printer, copier, fax)
Operate high volume printers and copiers
Interface with customer to optimize document design for quality and reproduction utilizing web design and applications such as Quark©, Pagemark©, Adobe, etc.
Perform minimal training to customer end-users on equipment
Operate high volume folding and inserting mail equipment
Other tasks as deemed necessary
Additional Requirements, Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to demonstrate computer skills Functional knowledge of PC (keyboard functions, mouse, etc.)
Ability to demonstrate Advanced use of: MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Web / Internet / Intranet
Demonstrate ability to use / locate / configure devices (drives, files, and printers) attached to network
Able to demonstrate proficiency with desktop publishing graphics / illustration software
Able to demonstrate ability to send and receive emails , find, open and save documents and files, perform data entry
Able to demonstrate the ability use internet explorer for web browsing , send documents to preconfigured printer
Able to demonstrate basic math skills (division, multiplication, percentages)
Exhibit Business maturity and professionalism
Experience in a Customer Service environment (minimum 1 year) Documented
Certification may be required. (i.e. Network, Java)
5 years of relevant experience
EDUCATION (will be verified)
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Post high school technology training or experience is preferred: Specialized training/education in graphic arts, imaging science or print technology, network or multiple operating systems
