Computer Task Group is

seeking a Mass Properties Engineer with Active Secret Clearance to work a

contract position in Palmdale, CA.

Description

Perform detailed Mass Properties calculations based on

released engineering drawings. Perform Vehicle level estimates based on

Preliminary Design data. Perform Weight reduction and Weight Control

activities. Perform Trade Studies based on Advanced Design data. Develop

Advanced Design Mass Properties Methodology.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory:

Must have experience in mass properties engineering such as:

Conducting bottom-up weight and balance analyses based on

conceptual/preliminary design level structural and systems models. Developing,

allocating and managing target weights at the IPT and detailed part level.

Assessing and managing subcontractor/supplier weights. Secret clearance with

investigation within 5 years required.
