Job Title : Operational Receiver Analyst

Project Duration : Contract, 6 months

Project Location : Painted Post, NY

Work Hours : 8:00am to 5:00pm Mon-Fri, No OT w/out approval

Pay Rate : $35.00 to $42.00 Hourly, DOE (no Benefits)

$65,000 to $77,750 annually - DOE / Salaried Limited Benefits

Job Duties / Summary

  • Ensure project team delivers support requirements Review charter and scope changes,

Identify support requirements that apply


Sign charter indicating that support requirements have been documented and agreed upon


Determine support teams that need to be engaged


Determine communication plan with impacted teams


Ensure project complies with requirements for IT Policy, Data Privacy, SLA, SOX

  • Drive transition between the project and the support teams to ensure support readiness

Engage and communicate with support personnel at appropriate times


Facilitate Potential Problem Analysis (PPA) and ensure completion with project team


Develop the support model in conjunction with operations and communicate/deploy to support teams


Participate in IT SD&O steering and advisory meetings (as applicable)


Participate in design reviews and engage others (as applicable)


Provide project team with current support information related to project


Assess risks/impact and escalate appropriately for support components that are still outstanding prior to go live/support transition


Align necessary support resources for deployment activities

  • Ensure formal transition of the project to the supporting organizations

  • Identify, manage, and control risks, to minimize the chance of failure or disruption of the service; ability to ensure that transition issues, risks, and deviations are reported to the appropriate stakeholders

REQUIRED Skills / Experience (MUST have to be considered)

  • Minimum of 10 years current IT experience, preferably in operations

  • Process driven/rigorous

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Continual improvement focused

  • Solid data analysis skills

  • Self-starter, self-directed

  • Flexibility/agility

  • Ability to transform ambiguity into logical tasks to accomplish positive results

Desired Skills / Experience (Nice to have)

  • Experience working in IT Service Design & Operations

  • Ability to apply knowledge to drive to successful outcomes the transition of projects to support interest in automotive or environmental technologies

Education

  • Minimum of 4 year degree is required – no exceptions
