Computer Task Group is seeking a Machinist for a 1 year Contract Position for their client located in Owego, NY.

Description

Operates light-duty machines, wet process line and production mechanical assemblies. May set up machines and make adjustments on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory:

Able to read blue prints, understand how to use hand tools for assembly of structures (hand drills, insert tools), able to build from routing or online routing instruction booklet, Measures parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions, able to learn how to run wet process line and become certified.
