 CTG Has an immediate opening for a Cyber-security Operations Analyst. This is a position directly with CTG Corporate. Position is based in our corporate headquarters in Buffalo, NY.

Manage security information event correlation system

 Review and escalate anomalies following incident management procedures

 Provides tier 1/3 support to investigate and remediate security anomalies and malware

 Support security operations systems and resources

 Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Job Specs:

  • Certifications:One or more of the following: GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, CISSP or equivalent

  • Education: BS/BA in CS, Math, IS or equivalent

  • Minimum of three years’ systems administration or equivalent hands-on technical experience with Unix and Microsoft operating system

  • Experience with managing and using SIEM systems including collecting, reviewing, performing deep analysis and validation as necessary, and following up on SIEM data and anomalies

  • Experience with Splunk, Snort rule sets, intrusion detection systems, malware analysis, and using security testing/scanning tools

  • Demonstrable understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols including packet decoding and analysis, network security, and IDS rules
