  • The MEDITECH Clinicals Analystwill work with teammates to provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 application support for the MEDITECH suite of Clinical Applications. Primary responsibilities include:

• Production support and maintenance for the following MEDITECH modules:

o OE – Order Entry

o PDOC – Physician Documentation

o BMV – Bedside Med Verification

o EDM – ED Management

o EMR – Electronic Medical Record

o ONC – Oncology

o ORM – OR Management

o PCS – Patient Care System

o POM – Provider Order Management

o PWM – Provider Workload Management

o MIS – User builds and clinical tables

o Patient Portal

  • Resolve open help desk tickets through communication with department staff to identify the issues involved and determine the best possible solution available

  • Answer clinical and workflow questions related to the application

  • Responsible for analyzing new build requests and completing system build as needed

  • Coordinate and create new workflows

  • Contact the vendor as required, and track all vendor tickets to completion, escalating when appropriate

  • Build and support experience required

  • Participate in 24/7 on call rotation

  • Work with the operational users to test application changes

  • The healthcare system’s two hospitals are running different versions of MEDITECH (C/S and Magic). Knowledge of both versions is desirable but not required.

  • Extensive MEDITECH C/S version is required, especially in Clinical Documentation. Client is currently utilizing v5.67.

  • Deep knowledge of inpatient clinical workflows is required; RN strongly preferred.

  • Able to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses and other providers.

  • Experience with MEDITECH Magic is a plus.

  • Some NPR experience is helpful
