CTG is looking for a Server Technical Course Developer for a leading technology client in the RTP, NC area. This is a long term contract position with benefit options available on your first day of employment including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO and much more!

The client is looking for a technical course developer to design, develop and update, e-learning content for their server, storage and networking product lines. This position is responsible for the production of technical education assets for e-learning, video and online based courses focused on their family of server, storage and networking products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical courseware consistent with our style guides from design document to flash deliverable

  • Design and develop e-learning assets, hands-on labs, and instructor-led course curriculum.

  • Revise learning modules, course materials, and content as necessary to improve the overall learning experience.

  • Provide consultative services, and act as a liaison with cross-functional work teams, key stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop course specifications and gather course content.

  • Assist in development of effective and sustainable learning assets, curriculum, and programs, leveraging the latest course authoring technologies.

  • Create simulations or hands-on-lab exercises to reinforce the learning experience.

  • Work with the team Instructional Designer and editor to keep the content consistent with our processes

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree preferred

  • Minimum 2 years experience in writing material

  • Ability to simplify complex technical information to a wide range of audiences in written form.

  • Ability to write scripts that can be used in learning deliverables.

  • Understanding of data center technologies such as server, storage, and networking technologies, as well as hardware components (SAN, 1U 2U rack servers, hyperconverged, switches, processors, memory, storage technologies).

  • Ability to learn highly technical products quickly by interacting with subject matter experts, and by using pre-release documentation, beta software, and hardware.

  • Proven ability using server operating systems (Windows Server).

  • Knowledge and ability to develop hands-on technical training.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks with time-critical deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team and changing environment.
