CTG's premier global client in Institute, WV has a 6-month assignment for a Lab Technician. There is the potential for extension after the initial contract period.

This position will involve 12-hour shifts and a rotating schedule.

The shift hours will be 6:00am-6:00pm and 6:00pm-6:00am.

The revolving schedule will be 3-4 days in a row on one shift, followed by days off, then 3-4 nights in a row.

The W2 hourly pay rate will be $23.00/hr for day shift, $24.00/hr for night shift.

Department / Team Description:

Laboratory Technical Services Department conducts quality control analyses to ensure conformance with product specifications and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Position Summary:

Lab Technician to provide analytical support to production unit.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide analytical support to internal and external customers.

Analyze, interpret and communicate results in a timely manner by verbal, electronic and/or written formats.

Ensure quality control protocols and/or best laboratory practices are maintained per standard operating procedures.

Maintain, repair and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation of verifying complexity, ranging from simple instructions such as balances and pH meters to complex instruments such as liquid/gas chromatographs and near-infrared spectrophotometers.


High School diploma/GED required. Associate or Bachelor degree in Sciences preferred.

Must have a valid drivers license.

Must complete site contractor training class.

Prior laboratory experience preferred.
