In this role, the candidate will work collaboratively with product owners, business stakeholders, and other development teams to reach consensus on solutions that meet the needs of the business. You will gain knowledge about the application and business while also meeting other people throughout IT in a collaborative effort to successfully complete the projects.

Position Details:

  • Analyzes and understand business problems and evaluates information from multiple sources. Resolves conflicts, deconstructs high level information into details, and distinguishes user requests from underlying needs

  • Cultivates a network of stakeholders and business experts and elicits, captures, and validates requirements for projects of high complexity

  • Facilitates requirements review and validation with stakeholders and project team for large projects

  • Communicates requirements and collaborates with developers and stakeholders to refine proposed solutions

  • Define, gather, and consolidate high level user stories in collaboration with the product owner, business stakeholders, and the development team.

  • Create user stories, identify and capture acceptance criteria, process flows and UI design in order to clearly communicate the needs of the business and direction of the product owner

  • Work with the product owner to groom the backlog of defined and prioritized user stories as necessary

  • Maintain visibility to user stories beyond the current and upcoming sprints, being attentive to changing requirements and priorities

  • Contribute to the success of the team through collaboration, connectivity, and the ability to inspect and adapt to changes

  • Verify product quality through coordinated system to system testing in addition to user acceptance testing

  • Manages business and technical risk areas and ensures that test plan covers requirements.

  • Executes test cases and prioritizes resolution of defects. Leads cross-team coordination and UAT

  • Participates in the creation and maintenance of project plans, providing updates to stakeholders as timelines change

  • Collaborate with other IT teams in building cross-functional solutions that integrate with other services and modules

  • Coordinate with others in the organization to plan and execute product deployments

  • Light project management activities such as planning, stakeholder communication, coordination of efforts across multiple teams, and risk/issue mitigation

  • Review completed development work with the product owner, stakeholders, and users as necessary before release into production

Required Skills and Education:

  • At least ten years of experience in information technology as a Business Analyst managing the delivery of complex solutions

  • Strong facilitator; adept at running meetings with end users, coordinating cross-team collaboration sessions, and following up on action items

  • Proven track record of effectively delivering results in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities

  • Self-starter who is highly organized, enjoys the challenges of multi-tasking, and is able to work with minimal supervision

  • Team-focused and accountable to commitments made to the business and the team

  • Demonstrate strong communication, planning, and organizational skills

  • Convey a passion for problem solving and tackling new opportunities

  • Demonstrate a positive, determined, and ambitious approach when confronted with business challenges

  • Experience working in an Agile framework is preferred, e.g. Scrum or Kanban

  • Ability to write basic SQL queries is helpful

  • Knowledge and experience of supply chain management and order management systems is beneficial
