Computer Task Group is seeking a Software Engineer to work a 1 year contract position onsite at their client's location in Eagan, MN.


i. Support the SW architecture team.

ii. Software specification development support and prototyping

iii. Initial Software Development and Change Request (CR) development - design/support design through implementation to delivery of tested code.

iv Problem Tracking Report (PTR) resolution - problem isolation through problem resolution to delivery of tested fix.

v. PTR support - problem identification/analysis.

vi. Problem determination, provide factory support to the fielded sites in the areas of Help desk support, site support, SDDR monitoring and evaluating. SW performance measurements.

vii. Other tasks as appropriate to support the development/maintenance team.

Time Based Flow Management (TBFM) is an Air Traffic Control (ATC) program awarded to Lockheed Martin in 2010 as an upgrade to a previously fielded version of the flow management functionality. TBFM is centered around the 20 Area EnRoute Control Centers (ARTCCs) but also has components at Terminal Radar Approach Control facilities (TRACONs) and Towers. TBFM’s monitor and control middleware will be based upon the FlightDeck middleware as built for ERAM’s Release 4 baseline. TBFM needs experienced personnel familiar with networking and the FlightDeck communications stack to help port, enhance, and integrate the FlightDeck middleware on the TBFM Intel/Linux platform. The SOW would also support the maintenance and enhancement of the TBFM infrastructure capabilities after the initial TBFM system is established.



Software Language: strong working knowledge and experience with C/C back-end development and strong working knowledge of Linux Redhat ;GUI development with Motif

Development in a Linux environment.

Flight data processing

C Shell Scripts skills

Algorithmic intensive systems

. Applications developed around/using a data base (data base modeling and structures)

Experience using the Atlassian development tools
