CTG is currently assisting one of its premiere clients in staffing a SAP Project Manager in Durham, NC. This is an ongoing, long-term contract assignment with possible conversion to perm. During the contract with CTG, we are offering either an hourly or salaried employment option with benefits and paid time off. The client is looking for someone who wants to stay long term and who will be content with ongoing maintenance over time.

The SAP Project Manager is responsible for leading / driving several smaller, ongoing business improvement projects. The PM could be responsible for 4-6 smaller projects at any one time. (Smaller defined as 30-50K each and 8-16 weeks in duration.) Projects would most likely be focused in Planning (MM), Order to Cash (OTC), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Financial Accounting / Controlling (FICO). Experience in as many of these areas / modules as possible would be desired. Experience with Net Suite is highly desirable. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is also highly desirable. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a major plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with and leads stakeholders to drive detailed content to achieve best results for the projects and initiatives.

  • Collaborates with team members to ensure clear roles, responsibilties, and expectations. Manages performance and escalates issues as needed.

  • Establish project deliverables: record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using requirements gathering techniques.

  • Execute project plan. Execute the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals.

  • Monitor and control project work

  • Closing the project. Obtain final acceptance of the project deliverables by working with the sponsor and/or customer, in order to confirm that project scope and deliverables were met.

  • Follow IT governance processes and procedures for status reporting, gate reviews, escalations, change orders, etc.

Minimum requirements:

  • 6-10 yrs of experience in Project Managements, Technical Leadership

  • BA or BS Degree

  • PMP or CAPM desired.
